Spie: two framework contracts with Vattenfall for Correll
(CercleFinance.com) - Spie has announced that Correll, an entity of its international subsidiary Spie Global Services Energy, has been awarded two multi-year framework contracts by Vattenfall, one of Europe's largest producers and suppliers of electricity and heat.
This group, 100%-owned by the Swedish state, has chosen Correll to carry out testing and fault detection on the interconnection cable networks installed on its offshore wind farms in Europe (excluding Germany), for an initial period of five years.
As the first entity to integrate its newly-created wind power division, Correll brings to Spie Global Services Energy its expertise in offshore wind power electrical engineering, thus reinforcing its strategy of diversification into renewable energies.
