Eli Lilly: Dr Runge to step down from board
(CercleFinance.com) - Eli Lilly announced on Friday evening that Dr.
Marschall S. Runge, an independent member of the Board of Directors since 2013, will retire on 31 August 2024.
Dr. Runge is currently an officer of Michigan Medicine and dean of the University of Michigan Medical School.
After his retirement in June 2025, he will continue to teach and provide healthcare.
Eli Lilly expressed its gratitude for Dr. Runge's contributions, including his expertise in medical science and his patient-centered perspective, which have helped the company develop treatments for diseases such as diabetes and obesity.
