Siemens: selected to lead consortium in Singapore
(CercleFinance.com) - Siemens Mobility announces that it has been selected by the Singapore Land Transport Authority to lead a consortium with Concord Corporation for the design and commissioning of the power supply system for the new Cross Island Line, Singapore's eighth mass transit system.
The contract is worth around E270m.
The power system will be designed for optimum integration with the signalling systems, ensuring reliable and sustainable operation.
Siemens Mobility thus strengthens its long-standing relationship with Singapore, having already worked on several projects for the MRT network, including signaling and electrification systems for other lines.
