Adyen: expands in India with technology hub in Bangalore
(CercleFinance.com) - Dutch online payment company Adyen announced on Thursday its entry into India, following approval from the Central Bank of India.
The 'fintech' has been designated as a payment facilitator, a type of aggregator authorised to process domestic and international transactions from Visa, Mastercard and Rupay platforms and the local UPI system.
As part of the project, Adyen says it plans to build a technology 'hub' in Bangalore.
