
Henkel: confident after a solid H1
(CercleFinance.com) - Confirming its preliminary estimates of mid-July, Henkel reports H1 2024 EPS that is up 32.
9% at constant exchange rates to E2.78, as well as an adjusted EBIT margin that improved 3.4 points to 14.9%.
The German group generated H1 sales of E10.8bn, representing organic growth of 2.9%, with positive contributions from both Adhesive Technologies (+2%) and Consumer Brands (+4.3%).
Henkel says that a month ago it raised its annual targets, aiming for a 20% to 30% increase at constant exchange rates in adjusted EPS and an adjusted EBIT margin of 13.5% to 14.5%, for organic sales growth of 2.5% to 4.5%.
Saying that it is well on the way to further profitable growth, CEO Carsten Knobel is now confident of achieving - in the medium term - his previously announced sales and earnings targets for the medium and long term.
