Puma: EPS down 25% in H1
(CercleFinance.com) - Puma reports sales of E2117m for Q2, stable compared with the same period a year earlier.
At the same time, EBIT came to E117.2m (+1.6%), with net earnings of E41.9m, down 23.8%.
Quarterly EPS came to E0.28, compared with E0.37 a year earlier.
H1 sales came to E4219m (-2.1%), with EBIT of E276.2m (-5.1%) and net income of E129.3m (-25%). H1 EPS came to E0.86, down 25%.
Thanks to our operating performance in Q2, we have fully achieved our outlook for the quarter and are on track to achieve our full-year guidance, says Puma CEO Arne Freundt.
Thus, Puma confirms its sales growth outlook for 2024 (at a mid-single-digit percentage) and targets EBIT of between E620m and E670m.
