Fraport: H1 net income of E160.8m (+89.2%)
(CercleFinance.com) - Group sales rose by 13% y-o-y to E2,038.
8m in H1 2024.
Fraport recorded passenger growth of 7.2% to a total of 74.1 million passengers on its air gateways in H1 2024 (ended 30 June).
Operating income or EBITDA reached E567.1m, up 17.8% y-o-y.
Net profit, jumped almost 90% to E160.8m (vs. E85m in H1 2023).
Due to delays in aircraft procurement (delays in delivery of new Boeing aircraft) Fraport now expects passenger numbers in Frankfurt to reach the lower half of the previously forecast range, i.e. between 61 and 65 million passengers.
Group EBITDA is expected to be around E1,260m to E1,360m. Group earnings (net income) should remain between E435m and E530m. Both performance indicators (EBITDA and Group earnings) should therefore be in the middle of the range previously forecast.
