
Rolls-Royce: H1 EPS up 82%
(CercleFinance.com) - Rolls-Royce reports H1 recurring sales of £8182m, up 17% on the same period a year earlier (£6950m).
Underlying operating profit stands at £1149m, compared with £673m for the same period a year earlier.
Current profit before tax almost doubled to £1035m (vs. £524m previously), giving current EPS of £8.95 for H1, compared with £4.9 twelve months earlier.
FCF tripled in twelve months, from £356m to £1158m.
These results and our increased financial resilience give us the confidence to raise our guidance for 2024 and reinstate distributions to shareholders in respect of FY2024 results, management said.
For 2024, Rolls-Royce is now targeting current operating profit of £2.1bn to £2.3bn (vs. £1.7bn to £2bn previously) and FCF of between £2.1bn and £2.2bn (vs. £1.7bn to £1.8bn previously).
