
Veolia: H1 recurrent income up 15%
(CercleFinance.com) - Veolia reports net income before non-recurring items for H1 2024 of E731m, up 15.
2% at constant exchange rates, with EBITDA of nearly E3.27bn, up 5.7% organically.
At over E22.1bn, the utilities group's sales rose by 4.4% organically and excluding energy prices, driven by booster activities, up 6.9%, while core activities grew by 3.4%.
In light of these results, Veolia fully confirms its annual targets, including recurring NI in excess of E1.5bn, organic EBITDA growth of +5% to +6% and "solid organic growth" in sales. Veolia also reports that the Metropole de Lyon has awarded it a contract to modernize and manage the Saint Fons wastewater treatment plant, one of the largest in France, for a period of six years and a total value of E100m.
