
Arkema: EBITDA target range tightened up for 2024
(CercleFinance.com) - On its quarterly publication, Arkema has tightened up its guidance range for 2024, targeting EBITDA growth over last year, now estimated at E1.
53bn to E1.63bn (vs. E1.5bn in 2023).
The chemicals group posted Q2 net income before non-recurring items of E214m, or E2.87 per share (E2.77 a year earlier), and EBITDA up 8.2% at E451m, representing a 0.7-point margin improvement to 17.8%.
Sales rose by 3.8% to E2.54bn, as a 2.4% drop in prices was offset by a 4.7% rise in volumes, driven by certain markets such as sports, batteries and energy, as well as industrial adhesives.
