Safran: 37% increase in first-half net income
(CercleFinance.com) - Safran reports a 37% increase in H1 2024 net income (group share) to E1.
43bn and a 41% increase in operating income recurring (OIR) to E1.97bn, representing a 2.3-point improvement in its margin to 15.1%.
Sales of the aircraft engine and equipment manufacturer rose by 19.2% to over E13bn (+18.7% on an organic basis), with organic growth of 23.1% in equipment and defense, and 26.6% in aircraft interiors.
For 2024, Safran confirms its forecast (on a LFL and adjusted basis) of sales of around E27.4bn, operating income close to E4bn and free cash flow of around E3bn, depending on the timing of payment of certain installments.
