Toyota: group sales continue falling in June
(CercleFinance.com) - The Toyota group reports that it sold a total of 912,971 vehicles in June, down 5.
8% on June 2023. This marks the 5th consecutive month of declining sales.
In detail, June sales of the Toyota brand fell by 5.1% (to 853,082 vehicles), while those of Daihatsu dropped 14.5% (49,229 vehicles) and sales of Hino fell by 13.2%, to 10,660 vehicles.
In terms of production, the group announced that it had produced a total of 894,541 vehicles in June, down 11.8%, with -12.9% for the Toyota brand (795,862 vehicles), -0.5% for Daihatsu (86,095 units) and -10.6% for Hino, with 12,584 units produced.
