Euronext: 'record' Q2 sales figures
(CercleFinance.com) - Euronext shares were up in Paris on Friday, after the stock exchange operator posted "record" Q2 sales yesterday.
The group reported a 12.2% increase in quarterly sales to $412.9m, thanks to strong trading in fixed-income assets, as well as in equities, energy, commodity derivatives and currencies.
Adjusted Ebitda rose 18.8% to E256.8m, giving an adjusted operating margin that improved by 3.5% to 62.2%.
Meanwhile, adjusted net profit came to E165.2m (+15.6%), giving EPS of E1.59 (+19%).
Euronext - which says it is in the final stage of integrating Borsa Italiana - believes it is well placed to generate annual synergies of E115m from the operation by end-2024.
The share, which has risen over 16% this year, was up over 1.2% following this quarterly publication.
