Mercedes-Benz: Quarterly EPS down 11.7%
(CercleFinance.com) - The Mercedes-Benz Group reports Q2 sales of E36.
7bn, down 3.9% y-o-y.
EBIT fell 19.1% to E4.03bn, leaving net income of E3.06bn (-15.9%). Quarterly EPS came to E2.95, down 11.7%.
In its outlook, the Mercedes-Benz Group confirms its forecasts for 2024, estimating that Group sales should remain at the previous year's level (with sales forecasts for Mercedes-Benz Cars, Mercedes-Benz Vans and Mercedes-Benz Mobility unchanged).
Group EBIT is expected to be slightly below the previous year's level, it says, as is FCF, which is anticipated to be slightly below the very good levels of 2023.
