Vicat: H1 earnings up 10%

1% rise in net income (group share) to E104m for H1 2024, with EBITDA up 12.3% at E353m, representing a margin that is up 180bp at 18.2%.
The building materials group's sales rose by 1.3% to E1.94bn, with organic growth of 4.8% largely offset by unfavourable scope and exchange rate effects.
For FY 2024, Vicat expects limited sales growth, but thanks to the performance recorded in H1, it is adjusting its EBITDA target, which it now expects to rise by between 3% and 8%.
