Getlink: H1 net income up 7%
(CercleFinance.com) - Getlink has reported a 7% increase in H1 2024 net income to E173m, despite a 15% drop in EBITDA to E424m after a E55m provision for ElecLink profit sharing.
The infrastructure group's sales fell by 14% to E808m, due to the normalisation of ElecLink's contribution, while its other two divisions, Eurotunnel and Europorte, saw their respective sales grow by 1% and 14%.
This performance enables the group to confirm its 2024 EBITDA target of E780m to E830m, which takes into account the sales already secured for ElecLink and recent electricity market prices.
