Sopra Steria: H1 net income up 9.5%
(CercleFinance.com) - IT services group Sopra Steria has published H1 sales of E2949m, up 3.
8% as reported (+0.3% organic growth) compared to the same period a year earlier.
Meanwhile, operating income from ordinary activities came to E285.3m (+13.6%), giving an operating margin of 9.7%, up 0.9 point on H1 2023 as reported, while net income attributable to equity holders of the parent came to E123.2m (+9.5%).
Basic EPS came to E6.11, up 9.8%.
Sopra Steria has said that it is targeting roughly stable organic sales for 2024, and free cash flow of around E350m.
We have improved the profitability of our operations in each of our core businesses, and confirm our objective of raising the group's operating margin rate to close to 10% by 2024, management said.
