Rémy Cointreau: Q1 sales down over 15%
(CercleFinance.com) - Rémy Cointreau has announced sales of E217m for Q1 2024-25, down 15.
6% on an organic basis, under the weight of a sharp fall in sales in the Americas, still penalised by destocking effects.
The wine and spirits group also reported a slight decline in APAC, reflecting in particular a high basis of comparison and a complex context in China, as well as contrasting performances in the EMEA region, with consumption at a low ebb.
Despite the sharp fall in its 2023-24 results, Rémy Cointreau maintains its advance on its 10-year strategic plan, and confirms its targets for 2024-25, which it says will be a year of transition.
