M6: 19% fall in net income in H1
(CercleFinance.com) - For H1 2024, M6 group has reported a fall in net profit attributable to the group of 18.
7% to E85.1m and a fall in current operating income (EBITA) of 11.1% to E120.1m, representing a margin that fell 3.4 points to 18.3%.
Sales rose by 5.6% to E656.9m (+7.1% LFL). Advertising revenues rose by 4.9%, boosted by the rebound in the TV advertising market and the broadcasting of sporting events such as the 2024 Euro football tournament.
In an uncertain macroeconomic environment, H2 2024 will be marked by continued operational investment in M6+ and the return of the Group's major content brands to its channels and to M6+ from the end of August.
