GM: targets raised again for 2024
(CercleFinance.com) - On its quarterly results, for 2024 General Motors (GM) announced that it now expects adjusted EPS of $9.
50 to $10.50, with adjusted EBIT of $13bn to $15bn, compared with $9-$10 and $12.5bn-$14.5bn respectively previously. NB: pmt +4.5%.
The automaker points out that its forecasts include planned capex of $10.5bn to $11.5bn, including investments in its battery cell manufacturing joint ventures.
Its Q2 2024 adjusted EPS jumped 60.2% to $3.06, with adjusted EBIT climbing 37.2% to $4.44bn, representing a 2.1 point improvement in its margin to 9.3% on revenues that rose 7.2% to $48bn.
