Airbus: Japan Airlines places firm order for 31 aircraft
(CercleFinance.com) - Airbus announces that Japan Airlines has placed a firm order for 20 wide-body A350-900 and 11 single-aisle A321neo aircraft.
The A350-900s will be assigned to international routes, while the A321neo will be used on Japanese domestic routes.
This announcement brings the total number of A350s ordered by the airline to 52, of which 18 are already in service. This is also Japan Airlines' first order for an A321neo, as the aircraft manufacturer says.
