Verizon: EPS down 5% in Q2

(CercleFinance.com) - Verizon has reported Q2 2024 EPS adjusted for special items that is down 5% to $1.
15, despite adjusted EBITDA rising slightly (+2.5%) to $12.3bn, and operating revenues that increased 0.6% to $32.8bn. NB: pmt -3%.

Still y-o-y, the telecom operator boasts solid wireless revenues, that increased 3.5% to $19.8bn, and 17.2% growth in broadband subscribers, to 11.5 million.

For FY 2024, Verizon says it is on track to achieve its targets of adjusted EPS of $4.50 to $4.70, adjusted EBITDA growth of 1% to 3%, and wireless revenue growth of 2% to 3.5%.
