TechnipFMC: signs major contract with Energean
(CercleFinance.com) - TechnipFMC has been awarded a major engineering, procurement, construction and installation (iEPCI) TM contract with Energean for its Katlan development in the Mediterranean Sea.
The contract is worth between $500m and $1bn.
This is the first Energean project to use TechnipFMC's on-demand Submarine 2.0 R production systems solution.
This contract follows an integrated front-end engineering and design (iFEED) study carried out by TechnipFMC, which optimized the commercial and technological solution for the field. The contract covers the design, fabrication and installation of production systems, pipelines, umbilicals and subsea structures.
The subsea infrastructure will be connected to Energean Power's floating production, storage and offloading (FPSO) vessel, which currently services the Karish and Karish North developments.
TechnipFMC said that the combination of iFEED to optimise field development with our Subsea 2.0 platform and integrated project execution model is accelerating Katlan's time-to-production. This is another iEPCI TM with Energean, demonstrating the collaborative relationship between our two companies that enables TechnipFMC to continue to improve project economics.
