Sanofi: new offers for Consumer Healthcare?

(CercleFinance.com) - According to Bloomberg, Sanofi has received new bids for its Consumer Healthcare division.

Advent International and PAI Partners have been shortlisted in the first round of bids for the group's Consumer Healthcare division, according to the news agency.

The offer would be valued at E15bn (compared with a previous estimate of $20bn).

According to Bloomberg's report, Clayton Dubilier & Rice has also submitted an offer, while CVC Capital Partners and the Bain Capital/Cinven consortium reportedly failed to submit bids by the deadline, said Invest Securities this morning.

Sanofi's wants to divest this division in Q4 2024 - either through a sale or an independent listing, the broker adds.
