Electrolux: reduces net loss in Q2
(CercleFinance.com) - Electrolux has reported a net loss of 80m SEK for Q2 2024, well below the 648m SEK loss incurred a year earlier, with its operating margin back in positive territory at +1.
2% compared with -0.4%.
At just over 33.8bn SEK, the appliance manufacturer's sales rose by 6.8% organically, driven by higher volumes in all its business areas, while price trends were negative.
Despite difficult market conditions, the mix improved, supported by the new modular platforms and the attractive product offering, Electrolux says, which also expects its cost reductions to bear fruit in H2.
