Lockheed Martin: Spain buys Patriot missiles
(CercleFinance.com) - US and Spanish officials have formalized an agreement for Spain to purchase Lockheed Martin's Patriot Advanced Capability-3 (PAC-3) Missile Segment Enhancement (MSE) missiles and associated support equipment.
With this agreement, Spain becomes the 16th PAC-3 partner country.
As the world's most advanced air defense missile, the PAC-3 will strengthen Spain's national defense capabilities and enhance their effectiveness in the 21st century Security battlespace, Lockheed Martin said.
By adding the PAC-3 MSE to its arsenal, Spain will enhance its air and missile defense capabilities against evolving threats.
