(CercleFinance.com) - Boeing announces an order from Emirates SkyCargo for five additional 777 Freighters to meet growing cargo demand, bringing Emirates' order book to 245 Boeing wide-body aircraft, including ten 777 Freighter aircraft.
Emirates' investment in the 777 Freighter will increase main deck cargo capacity by 30% by 2026. In total, the Emirates airline's freighter fleet will increase to 17 aircraft.
The 777 Freighter's range and payload capacity enable operators to offer more long-haul non-stop flights to connect markets such as the Middle East with the US and Europe.
