KKR: invests $234m in Texas logistics park
(CercleFinance.com) - KKR announces that it has acquired Park 8Ninety, a 12-building industrial logistics park in Houston, Texas, for around $234m from Artis Real Estate Investment Trust.
Scheduled for completion between 2017 and 2022, the park covers some 930,000 sq.m. and boasts a strategic location with direct access to major transportation routes.
KKR made the acquisition via its KKR Real Estate Partners Americas III fund.
The company recalls having committed or acquired nearly $7.5bn in logistics assets since 2018, owning nearly 4.5 million m² of industrial real estate in the United States.
The company also manages $71bn in real estate assets worldwide.
