Renault: EU approves joint acquisition of HyVia
(CercleFinance.com) - The European Commission has approved the acquisition of joint control of HyVia by Renault SAS and Plug Power France ('Plug Power'), all of which are based in France.
The transaction mainly concerns the manufacture and supply of fuel cell light commercial vehicles and the supply of hydrogen refueling stations.
The Commission concluded that the proposed concentration would not raise competition concerns, given the limited market position of the companies concerned resulting from the proposed transaction.
