Rio Tinto: to finance renovation of Australian hospital

5m) in the refurbishment of the Paraburdoo Hospital in Western Australia, in partnership with the local government.
The funding, drawn from Rio Tinto's A$250m commitment to the Resource Community Investment Initiative, will upgrade the hospital with modern facilities, including new GP wards.
The project will be combined with Rio Tinto's previous A$20m contribution to a new hospital in Tom Price, to make the overall works more attractive to contractors.
