Porsche: 7% fewer vehicles delivered in H1
(CercleFinance.com) - Porsche has announced that it delivered 155,945 vehicles to customers worldwide between January and June 2024, a figure that 7% down from the previous year.
In Europe (excluding Germany), Porsche delivered 38,611 cars in H1, up 6% y-o-y. In Germany, the number of vehicles delivered rose by 22% to 20,811.
In China, however, the sports car manufacturer delivered 29,551 vehicles to its customers, down 23%. In North America, deliveries fell by 6% to 39,558 units.
The carmaker points out that updates to the Cayenne, Panamera, Macan, Taycan and 911 are leading to complex transitions that are temporarily causing gaps in supply in the various markets and model series.
