Getlink: 5% fall in truck traffic in June
(CercleFinance.com) - Getlink, Eurotunnel's parent company, said that its LeShuttle service carried 216,772 passenger cars in June, up 1% y-o-y, but that LeShuttle Freight carried 97,501 trucks, down 5%.
Nearly 968,000 passenger cars and over 600,000 trucks have crossed the Channel on the group's shuttle services since 1 January, down 4% in both cases compared with the first six months of the previous year.
