Dassault Systèmes: cuts annual forecasts

(CercleFinance.com) - Dassault Systèmes has announced that it is adjusting its full-year forecasts, now targeting 6% to 8% total sales growth (compared with 8%-10% previously), as well as between 8% and 11% EPS growth (instead of 10%-12%).

As we wish to continue our track record of results in line with our plans, we have decided to reduce the risk of the year 2024, where business is concentrated at the end of the financial year, explains Rouven Bergmann, the software publisher's CFO.

He estimates preliminary Q2 EPS at E0.30, in line with the target range of E0.30-E0.31, but total sales at E1.495bn, against a target range of E1.525bn-E1.555bn, with the shortfall mainly due to the postponement of major contracts.
