Volkswagen: ELV management approved in France for 6 years

(CercleFinance.com) - Volkswagen has announced that the Volkswagen Group France Individual System for the management of end-of-life vehicles (ELVs) has been approved by the French government for six years, in line with the Group's environmental strategy.

The approval, published on 6 July in the Journal Officiel, is designed to improve the collection and recycling of end-of-life vehicles in France, and to combat illegal channels.

Volkswagen Group France will take charge of ELV management for its Volkswagen, Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles, Audi, SEAT, Cupra and SKODA brands, as well as for MAN Truck & Bus France's MAN TGE models.

The group relies on its CHARTECO label and its partner TRACAUTO to deploy this system.

The performance of ELV centers and their shredder partners will contribute to the circular economy, environmental issues and the sustainable development of the automotive industry.
