Tikehau Capital: acquires real estate assets from Casino
(CercleFinance.com) - Casino announces that it has signed a binding agreement with Tikehau Capital for the sale of a portfolio of 30 real estate assets in the second half of 2024 for more than E200m at the time of sale, plus additional amounts at a later date.
The portfolio consists of hypermarkets and supermarkets leased to Casino, Intermarché, Carrefour and Auchan, as well as ancillary land within these properties, some of which has development potential.
Agreements have also been signed to entrust the management of this portfolio to the Casino group for a period of five years. This transaction will reduce Casino's financial debt to the bondholders of its subsidiary Quatrim.
