Nokia: selected by Charter Communications
(CercleFinance.com) - Nokia today announced that Charter Communications is turning to Nokia's full portfolio of AirScale equipment, including 5G RAN, to support the design and deployment of its targeted 5G connectivity.
Charter will use Nokia's 5G RAN solutions to deliver wireless 5G connectivity, faster speeds and increased network capacity to Spectrum Mobile customers in its US test markets. This is Nokia's first win in the Multiple System Operator (MSO) space.
With 6 million customer lines by 2023, Charter's Spectrum Mobile is the fastest growing mobile service provider in the country.
