Stellantis: Moody's upgrades outlook
(CercleFinance.com) - Moody's says that it has improved its outlook for Stellantis from "stable" to "positive", on its confirmed long-term issuer and senior unsecured "Baa2" and other short-term "(P)P-2" ratings.
"The outlook change to positive reflects Stellantis' continued progress in terms of margins and leverage improvements", said Matthias Heck, a Moody's Vice President - Senior Credit Officer and Lead Analyst for Stellantis.
"A rating upgrade to Baa1 is likely, if the company is able to sustain high single-digit operating profit margins and maintains leverage sustainable below 2.0x, notwithstanding the short-term challenges," he adds.
