
E.ON: orders fast charging stations from alpitronic
(CercleFinance.com) - To develop ultra-fast charging in Europe, E.
ON has announced that it has ordered a further 4,500 charging points from the Italian manufacturer alpitronic for use in customer projects and public charging by 2025.
The latest generation of charging points, with outputs of 50 to 400 kW will be used to cover a wide range of needs, from charging at the workplace or while shopping, to ultra-fast charging on the motorway.
The partners are also pooling their expertise to develop charging solutions for trucks and future megawatt charging. The first pilot sites are due to be set up in various European locations by 2024.
