
Nvidia: Q1 EPS down 20%
(CercleFinance.com) - On Wednesday night Nvidia reported a 20% drop in adjusted non-GAAP EPS to $1.
09 for Q1, and a 23% drop in adjusted operating profit to $3.05bn on revenue that contracted 13% to $7.19bn.
The company's gaming business revenues fell 38% to $2.24bn, although the programmable graphics processor supplier reported record data centre revenues of $4.28bn, up 14%.
For the current quarter, Nvidia says it expects to achieve an adjusted gross margin of 70%, plus or minus 50 bp (compared to 66.8% in the previous quarter), on revenues of around $11bn, plus or minus 2%.
