
Neoen: work starts on 2 wind farms in Finland
(CercleFinance.com) - Neoen and the renewable energy cooperative Prokon have started work on their jointly owned Storbötet and Lumivaara wind farms in Finland with a combined capacity of 161.

The Storbötet wind farm, located in the municipality of Uusikaarlepyy, is planned to have 17 Vestas wind turbines with a total capacity of 105.4 MW (compared to the originally planned 95 MW).
The Lumivaara wind farm in the municipality of Hyrynsalmi will consist of 9 Vestas wind turbines with a total capacity of 55.8 MW (compared to the originally planned 53 MW).
Both wind farms are scheduled to be commissioned in 2025.
