Arkema: plans to acquire Polytec PT in Germany
(CercleFinance.com) - Arkema announces that it plans to acquire the German company Polytec PT, which will strengthen the product offering of its subsidiary Bostik to serve the fast-growing battery and electronics markets.
Polytec PT develops thermal interface materials for batteries and high-performance adhesives for electronics. It has sales of approximately E15m and a main production site in Karlsbad.
The project will enable Bostik to achieve sales of around E50m within five years in these high value-added applications. It is expected to be completed in Q2 2023.
