Vodafone: sales just up at E45.7bn
(CercleFinance.com) - Vodafone today presented its preliminary results for 2023.
Total revenue edged up 0.3% to E45.7bn (FY22: E45.6bn).
However, adjusted EBITDAaL slipped 1.3% to E14.7bn, as revenue growth was offset by higher energy costs and commercial underperformance in Germany. Its adjusted EBITDAaL margin was 1.4% lower than in the previous year at 32.1%.
Operating profit increased to E14.3bn, with the group making a profit of E12.3bn over the period (FY22: E2.8bn), largely reflecting the gain made on the disposal of Vantage Towers.
