Bouygues: another loss, but positive ROCA margin in Q1
(CercleFinance.com) - Bouygues has reported a net loss (group share) of E134m for Q1 2023, after a loss of E131m a year ago, although its recurring operating income from activities (ROCA) margin rose from -0.
8% to +0.1% year-on-year.
The conglomerate's revenues reached E12bn, up 46%, driven mainly by the contribution of Equans but also by the commercial performance of business lines and inflation. LFL growth reached 4%.
Bouygues confirms that it is targeting revenues that are close to those of 2022, with an increase in its ROCA for 2023, based on a proforma including Equans as if the acquisition had been completed on 1 January 2022.
