Vodafone: signs strategic partnership with e&
(CercleFinance.com) - On Thursday Vodafone announced that it has signed a strategic partnership with Emirates Telecommunications (e&) to bring together their activities in certain business areas.
In business services, companies say they are exploring the possibility of offering joint services to multinationals and public administrations in areas such as cybersecurity, private networks and the Internet of Things (IoT).
In procurement, Vodafone and e& plan to share best practices and possibly set up a joint procurement structure.
Both partners also intend to define a technology roadmap, particularly regarding the development and adoption of OpenRAN networks.
