Deutsche Telekom: raises target for 2023 EBITDA
(CercleFinance.com) - On Thursday Deutsche Telekom raised its gross operating surplus forecast for 2023, in particular thanks to the good performance of its activities in Germany.
The German operator now expects adjusted Ebitda after lease payments of E40.9bn this year, up from a previous target of E40.8bn.
For Q1, the telecoms group reported adjusted Ebitda that rose 0.9% to E10bn, on a 0.3% rise in revenues to E27.8bn.
While its US subsidiary T-Mobile US still remains a growth driver, it was the commercial momentum in Germany that enabled DT to perform so well in the first quarter, with revenues up 2.3%.
