Compass: raises FY guidelines
(CercleFinance.com) - The world's leading foodservice company has reported strong H1 organic sales growth of 25% to £15.
8bn (period to 31 March 2023).
Growth was balanced across all regions, with very strong performance in Europe, it said.
Operating profit exceeded £1bn (£1,050m), with its operating margin reaching 6.6%, up 80 bp. EPS was 42.7p, up 42.8%.
Following this strong performance in H1, management says now expects operating profit to rise by about 30% at constant exchange rates, driven by organic sales growth of around 18% and an underlying operating margin of 6.7% to 6.8%.
