EssilorLuxottica: joint venture agreement in the Gulf
(CercleFinance.com) - EssilorLuxottica has announced that it has signed a joint venture agreement with the Chalhoub group to develop eyewear sales in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries.
This partnership agreement in the Middle East will combine the expertise, technologies and eyewear brands of the Franco-Italian group with the Chalhoub Group's knowledge of consumers in the region.
The optical group said that the joint venture will result in the opening of single and multi-brand shops for globally renowned iconic brands such as Ray-Ban, Persol, Oliver Peoples and David Clulow.
