
Airbus: MoU with Philippine Airlines for 9 A350s
(CercleFinance.com) - Airbus has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Philippine Airlines for the purchase of 9 A350-1000 aircraft, which will be configured with separate business, premium economy and economy cabins.
As part of the Philippine carrier's Ultra Long Haul Fleet project, the A350-1000 will operate on non-stop services from Manila to North America, including the East Coast of the US and Canada.
By the end of April 2023, the A350 Family had won 928 firm orders from 54 customers worldwide. Some 530 aircraft are currently in the fleets of 40 airlines, mainly flying on long-haul routes.
