Whirlpool: teams up with Dow in making ventilators

(CercleFinance.com) - Whirlpool, Dow and Reynolds Consumer Products announce a partnership to provide frontline healthcare workers with ventilators in the fight against the Covid-19 epidemic.
They will be manufactured and donated through WIN Health Labs.

Through this joint project, the three groups are proposing an alternative solution of personal protective equipment to quickly respond to scarcity in the supply of N95 masks and ventilators for caregivers.

As part of this project, Whirlpool and Dow each initially plan to produce a thousand ventilators, which will be distributed to hospitals in regions where they operate, i.e. Louisiana, Michigan and Texas.
