Whirlpool: Q4 EPS above estimates

(CercleFinance.com) - Whirlpool has reported Q4 2019 adjusted EPS that is up 3% at 4.
91 dollars, over 60 cents above the consensus, with an adjusted operating margin that rose by one percentage point to 7.2%.

The household appliance maker's revenues fell by 4.9% to 5.4 billion dollars as reported, although were up 1.2% in organic terms, while its adjusted operating margin benefited from price-mix effects and cost discipline.

Displaying FY 2019 adjusted EPS of 16 dollars, which is significantly above its target range of 14.75 dollars to 15.50 dollars, Whirlpool says that it expects FY 2020 EPS of between 16 dollars and 17 dollars.
